2023 Year in Hate & Extremism

One of SPLC's flagship reports is the "Year in Hate & Extremism" which is an annual report that chronicles trends in hard-right activity, not simply as a reality check, but as a tool to act alongside those working to prevent radicalization and counter white supremacy, disinformation and false conspiracies. I worked on the 2023 issue of the report which allowed me to collaborate very closely with multiple departments across our organization. In working on this report I was responsible for hiring/art directing illustrators for feature stories, designing the interior layout of the report and creating accompanying social media images to promote its release.
